This school is now closed but the building still stands on Amherst hill in Riverhead, just north of Sevenoaks in Kent. A resent photograph showing the back of the old Amherst Primary school in Riverhead just before it closed. There have been a few additions to the school over the years such as a fence to separate the lower playground with the lower entrance, the gutter fence mesh to stop tiles falling on the children, a small extension where the drinking fountain used to be and some flower pots.
