The new (2009) Sunday Market in Estrella de Mar in the Murcia region of Spain, located in Alan's new comercial units a few minutes stroll from CASA ERIKA.

There is now a new paved walkway from the bars and comercials units on the main road in Estrella de Mar to the new comercial units and the sunday market. The sunday market had only just opened in Feb 2009 and as the photographs show, looks like it will catch on and be a success. Shopping in Estrella de Mar will improve as more of the new comercials units open.

The new walkway, finished in late 2008, heads towards the new commercial units in Estrella de Mar, a few minutes stroll from Casa ERIKA, our holiday house rental. The land on the other side of the steel fence on the left may be developed into one and two bedroom appartments on two levels with a central swimming pool.

The new sunday market in Estrella de Mar photographed in Feb 2009 just after opening. This runs from mid morning on sunday into early afternoon. Although only small at the moment (Feb 2009) I am sure it will grow in size.

At the end of the new sunday market in Estrella de Mar, there is a BBQ and a place were you can get beer. Behind the BBQ there are more comercial units and the already opened super market.

The new Super Market has just been opened inEstrella de Mar, run by english people. This has just opened in early 2009 and can be found in the new comercial units a few minutes stroll from Casa Erika, our holiday rental in the region of Murcia in Spain.
